As a young coach, I used to struggle with moving too quickly and failing to properly communicate the small details. I was always frustrated with my players until I realized that the problem was not with them. It was with my lack of ability to clearly communicate. I learned to include them, ask questions, create dialogue, and prioritize their understanding rather than only focus on my own ego.
