Build your coaching philosophy

Learn what separates good coaches from great leaders. This 11-part module breaks down how to define your core values, elevate your role on any staff, build trust, master film and scouting, design efficient practices, and develop offensive and defensive systems that win. It’s not just about coaching the game — it’s about running your program like a business.

Module IV

FOR COACHES

As a young coach, I used to struggle with moving too quickly and failing to properly communicate the small details. I was always frustrated with my players until I realized that the problem was not with them. It was with my lack of ability to clearly communicate. I learned to include them, ask questions, create dialogue, and prioritize their understanding rather than only focus on my own ego.

In this module you will:

  • learn “basketball terminology” and how to speak the game!
  • learn how to diagram plays and recognize actions through interactive film study
  • learn 2 and 3-player actions/concepts to will help you see the game
